Information we collect

• Submissions and correspondence: your name, email, contact and shipping information you provide, submission details, card counts, service levels, order numbers, status history, notes, and grades-document links.
• Tracker access: your email, protected representations of login codes and session tokens, expiry times, and security records used to limit repeated login attempts.
• Newsletter: your email, your permission to receive updates, signup time and source, and whether a signup notification was delivered to Iron.
• Technical information: our server and hosting systems may record IP addresses, requested pages, browser information, request times, and errors to operate and protect the website.

How we use it

We use this information to organize submissions, communicate about your orders, make order information available to you in the tracker, respond to requests, prevent misuse, and maintain business records. Newsletter signup is optional and separate from tracker login and order-update emails.

Who receives information

Iron administrators access information to manage submissions and customer support. We use IONOS for website hosting and Google/Gmail for email delivery. Information needed to carry out a submission or return shipment may also be provided to the grading company and shipping provider.

Grades documents may be hosted by Google Docs or another document provider. A shared submission can have one grades document available to multiple customers in that submission. Please do not add private contact or payment details to a shared document, and avoid forwarding grades links unnecessarily.

Cookies, fonts, and the estimator

The tracker uses an essential sign-in cookie named iron_tracker_session to keep you signed in for up to eight hours. Signing out ends that session. Blocking this cookie can prevent the tracker from working.

With your permission, the homepage uses Google Analytics to measure visits, submission-form download clicks, and estimator use. Google may process browser and device information, approximate location, referral information, cookie identifiers, and interaction events. Analytics is off until you choose Accept analytics. Declining does not affect the website or tracker. We do not install the Google Analytics tag on the tracker or admin pages, and our analytics events do not include customer emails, order details, or estimator entries. Advertising storage, ad personalization, and Google Signals are disabled in our integration. Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google and sends technical information such as your IP address. External links, including social sites and grades documents, are subject to those providers’ own privacy practices.

The submission cost estimator calculates in your browser. Its entries are not submitted to Iron or saved as an order by the estimator. If you allow analytics, we record that you used it, without sending your entered quantities or estimated costs.

Your analytics choice is stored in this browser for up to 180 days. Google Analytics cookies (names beginning with _ga) are configured to expire 90 days after their most recent update. You can change your analytics choice here or through Analytics settings in the homepage footer. Declining after accepting stops future analytics collection in this browser and removes our Google Analytics cookies; it does not automatically remove information already received by Google. We also keep analytics off when the browser sends Global Privacy Control.

Online submission forms

The online submission builder creates your completed PDF in your browser. Contact details, card lists, and notes entered there are not sent to Iron or stored in your tracker account by the tool. Entries are held in the open page and are cleared on refresh or close. Downloaded PDFs remain on your device until you delete them. The builder does not load Google Analytics.

Your choices and requests

To stop newsletter emails, email ironsportscards@gmail.com with “Newsletter unsubscribe.” This does not stop messages needed to manage an existing order.

You can also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information. We may need to verify your identity before handling a request. Some records may need to be retained for ongoing submissions, business or legal obligations, or disputes; we will explain any limitation that applies to your request.

Retention and security

Order records are not automatically erased when an order is marked Complete. Expiry of a login code or session prevents its use, but does not necessarily immediately erase its database record. Backup copies can also remain after a change or deletion until those copies are rotated or removed.

We use HTTPS, email-code sign-in, restricted administrative access, and database backups to help protect information. No website, email service, or storage system can guarantee complete security.

International visitors and children

Iron Sports Cards operates in the United States. When you use our services from another country, your information may be processed in the United States and other locations used by our service providers.

Children should have a parent or guardian arrange submissions and communications with Iron. If you believe a child has provided personal information that should be removed, please contact us.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page and its date when the practices described here change, including changes to our analytics tools.
